Students attending the Indigenous Education and Leadership Day, please see Mrs. Robinson either today or tomorrow at sweetgrass circle for Thursday’s details.

The Sweetgrass Circle meets at lunch on Wednesday in room 150.  All are welcome to talk about Indigenous Culture and what we can do to increase awareness and presence in our school.

Attention all girls playing in the one-day softball tournament; all forms and money need to be handed in to Jamie-Lee by this Friday.

If you are interested in attending an after school clinic on Ultimate Frisbee on June 4th, please attend a quick interest meeting this Thursday in Student Services at 11:00 a.m.

This Thursday, May 23rd at 7:00 p.m. the Isabel Turner Library on Gardiners Road is hosting a candid and casual information event for graduates and their parents / guardians on What to Expect in Post-Secondary.  Former KFPL teen volunteers are coming back to discuss and share their college and university experiences.  They will answer questions about dorm life, budgeting, time management, study tips, and their struggles and successes as they navigate post-secondary life.  If interested, please see Ms. McCluskey in room 116.

The Recreation Band meets at 6:30 p.m. tonight to prepare for Wonderland.

The Competition Band meets tonight 7:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.

The Girls Rugby Team is off to the KASSAA finals this Friday.  The girls beat Regi 53-0 yesterday in an impressive display.  That makes Friday a double-header with the girls at 2:30 p.m. followed by the SR. Boys at 4:00 p.m.  See you there.

The Baseball Team finally started their season yesterday with a 9-0 victory over LaSalle, then a 4-3 extra inning loss to Sydenham.  There were strong pitching performances by Evan Bennett, Connor Bearisto, Logan Amos and Jacob Murphy; and Logan Amos blasted a homerun to power the offence.

JR. Boys Soccer are reminded to be in the front foyer for 1:15 p.m. today for our match against Regi.

The Library is closed today for L’Acadie immunizations.

Reminder to anyone participating in the Beach Volleyball Tournament that there is a mandatory meeting on Thursday at the start of lunch in room 275.

Attention all students travelling to the Stratford Festival on Wednesday.  The final mandatory trip meeting is today at lunch in room 135.  Please be there at the start of lunch.

For anyone participating in the Beach Volleyball Tournament, there is a mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch on Thursday in room 275.

The Library is closed periods 2 and 3 today for a presentation on the Holocaust.

It was a stellar couple of days for the Falcons at the KASSAA track and field championships on Wednesday and Thursday.  30 students qualified for EOSSAA and the team finished 3rd overall.  Amazing work Falcons!

Coffee House, tomorrow at 7:00 p.m.  Performers make sure you sign-up outside the main office.

Girls’ Rugby Players are asked to come to room 273 at the start of lunch today to confirm travel plans for today’s semi-final against Regi.

Hey Falcons!  Its that time of year again!  Yearbooks are on sale in the Front Foyer during lunches from this week til next week.  Final date is Friday, May 24, 2019.  We will be accepting cash, cheques and e-transfer.  All for $45.00.  Purchasing can also be done online!  Check the posters around the hall, twitter, our Instagram FSS yearbook account and Mr. Wills for more information.  We hope you can buy your yearbook.  These are memories to cherish!

Kingston Ultimate Frisbee Competitive Coaches are coming June 4th to run a clinic at Frontenac.  If you are interested in attending the session, please come to a meeting on Wednesday in student services at the start of lunch.

There will be an incredibly brief meeting for all girls lacrosse players at the start of lunch today in room 270.  There will also be a practice today right after school.

The recreation band meets tonight from 6:30 – 7:30 to prepare for Wonderland.

The competitive band meets tonight from 7:45 – 9:15 p.m.

There is a brief Tech meeting at the beginning of lunch.

There is a brief meeting for the composition club at the beginning of lunch.

Any students who have signed up to volunteer at tomorrow’s track meet need to meet at the Frontenac tent by 8:30 a.m.  If you haven’t already given Ms. Taylor your permission form, please bring it with you.  Make sure to wear layers!  See you at Invista!

Attention Graduating Students!  Graduate responses for the yearbook have been sent to those who had their picture taken with Lifetouch.  Emails have been sent to their limestone accounts.  We plan to have the responses by the end of the day.  Talk to Wills if you have any questions.

Students who volunteered to help at the Indigenous day this Thursday, please hand in your permission form to Mrs. Robinson today.  If you cannot attend, please let her know.

Track and Field – lightening fast meeting at the beginning of lunch today in room 275.

Congrats to the JR. Girls’ Soccer Team who finished out regular season play last night with a 3-1 win over KCVI!  The girls finished the season tied for 2nd and now play NDSS tomorrow in quarterfinals.  Wish them luck.

JR. Boys’ Soccer practice is cancelled for tonight, but we will have a meeting at the start of lunch (11:00 a.m.) in room 276.  Congrats on the first win against Marie Riviere 3-0 last night.  Jackson Moore, Mason Oxboro and Carson Fraser scored and Brennan Boyce and Kieran Scott recorded the shutout.  Quarterfinal match will be at Mik Mac at 11:15 a.m. tomorrow against Holy Cross.

Congratulations to the SR. Girls’ Soccer Team for their win over KCVI.  The girls advance to the quarterfinals tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at Mik Mac.

JR. Boys’ Soccer is reminded to be out at the main field at 2:50 p.m. for our last regular season match against Marie Riviere.  We will need to begin field set up right after the Rugby game.

If you see a member of the girl’s rugby team today, give them a pat on the back!  These girls ended a perfect regular season Friday with a 27-5 win over LaSalle.  Next game will be a semi-final next Tuesday at home – put it on your calendar. 

Please excuse the JR. Boys’ Rugby team at 1:00 p.m. today for their game against Napanee.

Reminder to anyone planning to play in the beach volleyball tournament, that forms and money are due to Ms. Lackey as soon as possible.

The JR. Girls’ Soccer Team had a fantastic showing at the LaSalle Tournament on Friday, winning all 3 pool play games and played a tight match in the finals against Regi.  Well done girls and good luck today against KC.  Reminder to meet in the foyer at 2:00 p.m.

A huge congratulations to the SR. Girls’ Soccer Team for their performance Friday at LaSalle.  Everyone should be so happy with the result.  Good luck tonight at KCVI.
