Attention anyone interested in playing Rugby this spring:  Sign up sheets are up in the Phys Ed hallway for both boys and girls teams.  No experience is necessary. See Mr. Doyle, Mr. Tan or Denis Aseltine if you have any questions.


Hay Falcons!  Do you like to sing?  Perform? Read and write your own poetry?  The Inter-School Council is hosting a Coffee House on Thursday, March 21st from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Fundraiser for the United Way.  There will be great music, a silent auction and great prizes to be won!  If you would like to perform, talk to your co-prezes Sophie and Graeme or Sean Kim.


Reminder to anyone trying out for Junior Girls Soccer that the first tryout is on the Monday after the break!  See you there.


Do you like Math or problem solving?  Are you in Grade 9 or 10? If yes, come to a Junior Mathletes meeting in room 212.  If you don’t think Mathletes is cool, feel free to tell your friends you’re at rugby!  Don’t forget to bring a pencil and also we have snacks!


Today, Friday March 8th, is International Women’s Day!  Today is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.  The future is exciting. Let’s build a gender-balanced world. Everyone has a part to play – all the time, everywhere.  From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance.  We notice its absence and celebrate its presence. Happy International Women’s Day!

Hey Falcons!  Peace 4 Pineapples will be having a pop-up sale Today at lunch in the front foyer.  There will be lots of new styles and colours. 10% or the proceeds will be donated to the Kingston Youth Shelter.


There is a power point presentation on for all students interested in traveling to Scotland and Ireland (March 2020) at 11:05 a.m. in room 135 (Ms. Cavers’ Room)  Come and see what this trip is about!


Attention all Junior Girls interested in trying out for soccer.  Tryouts will be starting on the Monday after the break. Please stop by the math office to pick up permission forms.


There will be a quick Junior Boys Soccer meeting in room 275 at the beginning of lunch today.  Great time to drop forms off too!

Any Grade 10 students looking for extra literacy support can come to after school Literacy sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 118.  See Ms. Yanch to sign up.

Reminder to all swimmers going to OFSAA that there is a mandatory meeting today at 11:05 a.m. in room 219.


Rugby practices next week: Girls – 2:45 p.m. Tuesday; SR. Boys – 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; JR. Boys – 2:45 p.m. Thursday.  Check the bulletin board outside Mr. Doyle’s office for more details.


JR. Boys interested in playing soccer, we will have a meeting on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in room 275.
