June 10, 2024
This year's Arts Banquet is on June 14th from 4:00-6:00. The Theme is Masquerade. It is a free event and is a potluck. Come celebrate the success of the arts at Frontenac. Please sign up for the food item you will bring in the drama room.
Athletic Banquet tickets are on sale today in the front foyer! $5 per person, that includes parents! Please join us Thursday June 13th at 3:30pm for a night to celebrate your individual, team, and school success this year on the courts, track, fields, pools, rinks, racecourses and so much more! The night will feature team and major awards, an amazing slide show, great food from Crave coffee house and bakery, and a few fun games to highlight some of the best plays of the year! See Ms. Pixley or your coaches for more details!
The track & field season came to an end over the weekend – but not before a series of outstanding performances by the 8 Student athletes representing Frontenac.
- Emma Pierce & Quentin Kerr both flew down the track in their sprint categories
- For the 2nd year in a row, Leah Covert competed in a pair of events, capping off a double-double in her Grade 9 & 10 years
- Jake Campbell and Garrett Cowan picked up Top 10 finishes in horizontal jumps
- Declan Cowan earned a 4th place finish in Discus Throw
- You may see Cailan McGregor in the halls today with a pair of bronze medals, commemorating his exemplary performances (and ridiculous new personal bests) in the 1500 & 3000 metre races
- Finally, Wyatt Lee secured a bronze medal in the 100 metres & a silver in the 200 metres, all while demonstrating exceptional Falcon sportsmanship, attending to an injured competitor following his race, rather than celebrating his personal accomplishments.
Tremendous work at OFSAA by all, see you at the Athletic Banquet on Thursday!
The Level 100 Band Meets today at lunch.
Thank you, Falcons, for celebrating PRIDE week. SAGE has one last meeting today at lunch in the portable to celebrate the year and elect our representatives for next year. See you at lunch SAGE.
Anyone interested in playing Senior Football next year is reminded that our first spring practice is today after school on the main field.
Softball players, please check the Google Classroom for updates for the tournament tomorrow. We are missing many permission forms and payments. Hope to have them in ASAP.
