The course request period for the 2025/2026 school year is here!
This process is an important one for students as they continue their post-secondary planning. It is critical that students choose carefully as we build our Timetable based on students' requests.
Guidance Counsellors will be meeting with classes in the Learning Commons the week of February 10th, 2025 to discuss options and spend time doing selections with students. In preparation, we are hoping families will engage in some preliminary conversations at home regarding students' interests and pathway. To help you, we have summarized the pertinent information for each grade into a slideshow:
- Current Grade 8 Students

In terms of what courses we are offering next year, we have listed them in our 2025/2026 Course Offering Sheet. This will be handed out to students during their session in the Learning Commons. For more detailed information about our programming and the full descriptions of the courses being offered, please refer to our 2025/2026 Course Calendar .
Course requests are to be completed using myBlueprint which can be accessed through students’ LDSB MindsOnline Account. We ask that all students submit their course requests and their course request verification form to homeroom teachers by Friday, February 28th, 2025.
If students still have questions following their session with their Guidance Counsellor, they are welcome to book an appointment with them in Student Services. Please note, Guidance Counsellors will continue to have individual conversations with students and update students’ requests throughout the month of March.
