The Limestone District School Board is hosting Grade 8 Parent Information Nights at our secondary schools across the region for families and students to attend. Parent information nights include a special presentation about the secondary school, its programs, and the registration process.

It is beginning to look a lot like winter! At our grade forums at the end of November, we addressed many shared concerns and information items with our students.

The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) has achieved its strongest Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) performance in four years, with gains in every testing category for the 2024-2025 school year.

Join us for a special Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) gathering with Krishna Burra, LDSB Director of Education. When: Thursday, December 4, 2025, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Today, midterm report cards were sent home with students. These marks will be available online in Aspen and myBlueprint on Friday, November 28th as well. Please remember that exams and culminating course activities will be taking place in January.

Dear Families, As a follow-up to our previous messages about the upcoming Student Census survey, the deadline for families to opt out has been extended to the end of day on Monday, November 17. If you wish to opt your student(s) out, please contact your school principal.

Dear Families, A reminder to families that the See Yourself in Limestone Student Census is coming up the week of November 24 to 28. The Student Census is a voluntary survey for students in Grades 4 to 12. It gathers information about students’ identities and their experiences at school.

We continue to be busy and proud of the accomplishments of our students. This past Thursday marked the official midpoint of the first semester with the beginning of term two. Teachers will be tabulating midterm grades which will be sent home Friday, November 21st.
